Storm Cotton® Technology

Storm Cotton® technology is a water-repellent finish that offers protection from outdoor elements such as rain and snow. Even after contact with rain and snow it keeps its natural comfort. As compared to other treatments this finish provides an enhanced performance. The Storm Cotton® finish lasts throughout the garments lifetime while also maintaining breathability, even after many washes.

Storm Cotton®  repels water but also allows vapor to pass through from skin out to the environment keeping you comfortable. With this finish the garment dries 40% faster than untreated cottons.

TransDRY® fibers excellently manage moisture, they also allow the fabric to wick and spread perspiration. The TransDRY® technology is better than most high-tech synthetic fabrics. With similar softness to cotton there is comfort plus fast-drying performance. The technology works by treating cotton yarns with a process that makes them water repellent. Blending the yarns with cotton yarns creates a fabric that mimics polyester or nylon. Even while perspirating this product will dry fast and stay comfortable and soft.

"TransDRY® dries up to 50% faster than untreated cotton and equivalent to synthetics."
